Year 11 Paper 1 Revison
by Wayne Davey - Friday, 18 June 2010, 02:24 PM

Take a look at the revision pages for Paper 1. This is a Decision Making Paper where you will need to analyse and interpret data to come to a conclusion. It is centered on Development of a LEDC and the need to have a secure Energy supply. It will also get you to consider the advantages and disadvantages of a proposed large scale scheme for the LEDW.

Make sure you have case studies of alternative energy schemes that are sustainable and probably small and local as an alternative to a big energy scheme.

Make sure you are able to use all the map skills like grid references, measuring distance and map intrepretation. Lat and long may also appear. Use the section in the Revision Guide.

Look at the advice sheet in the Year 11 Revision area on HOW TO PASS PAPER 1. The notes from some of the lessons on this Paper 1 question are also available.

Good Luck. Last minute exam tips in L4 9.00am Monday Morning.
