Maths department
Mr Allen, Mr Burch, Mrs Hancock, Mr. Seaton and Mrs Wilkin welcome you to the maths department. We aim to give pupils the mathematical knowledge, understanding and skills to make sense of the world. We offer courses leading to GCSE maths and Entry Level maths.

For maths lessons and exams pupils need:

~ pencil
~ ruler
~ rubber
~ calculator
~ protractor
~ compasses
For your convenience these can be bought from the maths department.

We use AQA, Key Maths, SMP and Task Maths textbooks. The software we use includes Excel, Omnigraph, Living Worksheets and MicroSMILE. As well as in-house worksheets we use SMP, 10ticks and Key Maths worksheets. We have a subscription to http://www.mymaths.co.uk/ and www.mathletics.co.uk.
